I'm Broke!!

We are so deprived of GOOD book stores here in KK man. SO DEPRIVED! Went to KL last sunday for a 5 days and 4 nights comics and books shopping spree (nothing else is on sale 'cept for books anyways). I love Kinokuniya for their Comics, MPH and Borders for their range of Fantasy genre books. I went wild . . . price doesn't really matter cause i know that i would not get this books and comics when i come back to KK (kan i said we all very deprived). I'm like a kid lost in a toy store with no one's around. I don't know how long i was in the book stores browsing cause there's just too many selections, viv and zar just left me there and continue their normal shopping hahah i only saw them back after they're done with shopping and wanted to bring me back to reality haha. If not for the fact that i gotta carry all these heavy books back home and there's always the overweight problem at the airport i would have bought the whole collections. Then again my wallet also screams at me after the third bookstore. sorry wallet my ears suddenly becomes a bit deaf. (The David Eddings book is also a hardcover one hehe)

To get a better picture of how crazy i was, here's a list what i bought hehehe. These books by Robin Hobb is a new Trilogy after the The Tawny Man Trilogy.

And of coz these are my comics . . very hard to find here you know, you must have extremely good luck and extremely good connections to get these comics here. (in my case both also i'm lacking)

Absolute Watchmen Limited Edition (special slipcase hardcover)

Someone told me to get this comic, buy, beg or steal . . any other way possible, so before going to KL i google this comic and found out that its a limited series comic and it won a Hugo Award for its graphics. To read about it click here. So when i saw this comic lying around in Borders i gotta have it and as a bonus it comes in a special limited edition slipcase. (don't ask bout the price) Heavy mau mati punya berat but its worth it, after this buy my wallet seriously screaming its lungs out at me so i gotta stop buying anymore comics this size hahaha the small small one can. Oh and not forgetting it took me 2 Borders and 1 Kinokuniya stores and many sms to finally decide to get this comic. Price difference reason.

Before i left for KL my colleague mention about The Darkness comic, he said it was the best graphic comic he ever read and it was out of stock everywhere and its only up to vol.31? (i dunno haven't google it yet) so when i saw that one single volume at the back shelves in Kinokuniya i just took it without even looking at the price haha. (the price is equivalent to 15 kon lo mien)

I also bought Ghost Rider : Resurrected, Young Avengers Civil War, Young Avengers & Runaways Civil War, 3 Daredevil Comics, Nightcrawler, Jojo's Bizarre adverture and Conan. (can't put up the pictures cause blogger something wrong)

I think i spend almost to Rm700 on all of these. The big comics i havent even opened the cover yet until now and i'm not gonna open it until my account has reach to the amount before i went to KL hahahaha.

Actually kan after i list down everything i didn't really buy that much, zar bought 20 books give or take hehe so mine still can consider sikit.

Now 3 people odi berabut wanting the receipt for my purchases hahaha.
